I joined BDN in May 2022 as KTP Associate and Architect.
I completed my BA (Hons) and MArch (Dist.) in Architecture at Northumbria University, studied my PGDip in Architectural Practice and Management at Newcastle University, and I am also a Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture (PhD).
My PhD explored creating supportive living environments and as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), I am committed to designing, delivering, and advocating for better and more inclusive environments that promote healthy ageing.
As KTP Associate, I lead one of the few Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects within the architectural field and manage this collaboration between BDN and Northumbria University. The project involves the development of BDN’s Longevity Housing and Care Approach to drive innovation and enhance the quality of homes and care environments.
I have spent several years working in practice and freelanced across the UK, working on projects across the RIBA work stages in both residential and commercial sectors. I largely specialise in age-friendly design projects.
My work has received national and international recognition and has been featured at the London Design Festival, the Royal Institute of British Architects, and the Association of Project Safety.
Digital Skills: Autodesk Revit, Vectorworks Architect, SketchUp, SU Podium, Adobe Suite
Outside of work, I spend my time renovating a Victorian terrace house, weaving tapestries and travelling!
