I joined BDN in November 2021, and was promoted to Associate Architect in January 2023.

I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Architecture at the University of Central Lancashire and studied for my MArch in Architecture at Northumbria University. Following this, I studied at Newcastle University for my PGDip in Architectural Practice and Management.

As an Associate, my responsibilities include managing the Architectural team at our Sunderland office, directly liaising with clients and acting as lead designer across a variety of projects.

In addition to this, I am also BDN’s workplace partner for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Northumbria University, exploring longevity and aging in place design principles. Through this partnership, I work alongside our KTP Associate and specialists at Northumbria University to pioneer innovative developments innovation to enhance the quality of homes and care environments for older individuals in the North East.

I have varied architectural experience delivering bespoke residential, educational, and social housing projects, across all RIBA work stages. In my career, I also have experience in developing a variety of residential and mixed use masterplans, including landscape led Garden Villages and urban regeneration.
