I have worked at BDN since 2001 and following a Management Buyout (MBO) in 2019, I am now Managing Director.

I studied at Northumbria University for a Ba (Hons) in Architecture and achieved my part iii qualifications from the RIBA North West. In 2012, I undertook a sabbatical at the BIM Academy. Upon returning, my focus was to take forward collaborative working methods and implement BIM technologies.

In 2013, as a Chartered Architect with the ARB and RIBA, I became a Director, leading the architectural side of the Practice. In 2014, I was named the Construction Excellence regional and national award winner for achiever of the year.

Since becoming Managing Director in 2019, I now concentrate on business strategy and how we can develop the business. I have a successful career in unlocking difficult and challenging sites that to most architects and developers, can be off putting.

I spend my weekends watching my son play football or my daughter dancing. On the odd occasion I have a spare weekend, I enjoy climbing in the lake district.
