BDN was engaged by Countylife to support with architectural, structural and civil engineering services, as it embarked on a 17-home scheme in the picturesque village of Streetgate, Sunniside. The result is a stunning new development of high-quality contemporary dwellings, comprising 17 three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties.

Our multi-disciplinary team worked together to shape plans for a scheme that maximised the potential of the site, creating attractive homes that sit perfectly in situ, with stunning open-aspect views over the surrounding fields and countryside.
Our architectural and structural teams worked hand-in-hand to design five three-storey house-types, all highly sustainable, energy efficient and with a modern aesthetic, while our civils designed sustainable urban drainage systems, that allowed for a higher level of attenuation than a typical site.
